The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is a global non-governmental and non-profit scientific organisation dedicated to research in various aspects of peaceful exploration and utilisation of outer space.

Intersputnik has been a member of IAF since 2015 and participates annually in IAF General Assemblies and International Astronautical Congresses (IAC) organised by the Federation.
