The Global Satellite Operators Association (GSOA) brings together national, regional, and international satellite operators, advocating for and advancing the interests of the industry. It represents the community's stance on critical global platforms, regulatory bodies, and agencies responsible for shaping the future of telecommunications networks through regulation, standardisation, and development efforts. The industry’s leading regulators, such as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP consortium), as well as other major ICT players, including the World Economic Forum, etc., recognise the Association as the representative union of satellite operators. Intersputnik joined GSOA, which has similar goals, in early 2022. The opportunity to work more closely on the GSOA platform is fully in line with Intersputnik's 2022-2026 development strategy approved by the governing bodies. Membership in GSOA and the international status of Intersputnik contribute to the implementation of Intersputnik projects in the field of satellite communications in various regions of the world, including projects implemented for the benefit of Members and Signatories.
