The award ceremony for prize winners took place on 2 October 2025 in Moscow during the 30th anniversary international conference SATCOMRUS-2025.
SATCOMRUS is held on a regular basis and is a prominent industry forum on the development of civil satellite communications systems and digital broadcasting in member countries of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC). The conference is organised by Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC), a Signatory of Intersputnik from the Russian Federation.
Intersputnik’s Director General Ksenia Drozdova was also awarded the 1st degree badge of honour "For Personal Contribution to the Development of Space Communications" for her long-standing and fruitful collaboration in developing the industry, creating high-tech satellite systems, and a reliable partnership with RSCC. The honorary industry award was presented by RSCC Director General Alexey Volin.
In its activities, Intersputnik is guided by the principles of equal and mutually beneficial international cooperation, which underpin the development of satellite technologies as a key factor in connecting the unconnected, increasing the availability of high-quality digital services, and improving the quality of life for people around the world. These principles make Intersputnik’s work consistent with common development trends of the global information and communication environment as set by the UN, ITU, and other international organisations. In this context, the Satcomrus Awards in the “Cooperation Without Borders” category is an expectable outcome of the Organization’s efforts.
We thank our esteemed colleagues from RSCC for their high appreciation of our work and look forward to further developing a mutually beneficial partnership in implementing satellite projects in various regions of the world!
